This is a linen deconstructed style dress designed by Alber Elbaz for Lanvin in the early 2000's. Some of the Elbaz early Lanvin collections were famously known for their exposed seams and zippers, and this piece has those elements as well as unfinished hems.
The fabric is a rich, deep dark indigo blue linen and the dress has 4 front pockets with metal zippers. This can be worn as a coat or a dress and it a very versatile piece to have in your wardrobe!
There is no remaining label except the Lanvin size/content label which indicates that it is a size 38, made of 100% linen and was made in France.
We estimate this dress to fit a modern day size 8 but please use the measurements as a guide!
