Overview
A multipurpose primer, stain blocker and finish in one, Bradite ONE CAN Matt paint is water based, virtually odourless, touch dry in 30 minutes and ready to re-coat in an hour. It sticks to numerous interior and exterior substrates including joinery, building plastics, metals and cementitious surfaces. A quality all-round primer and top coat that provides a professional finish and anti-corrosive properties. The dead matt finish is available in White or Anthracite Grey, with a sheen of 6%. Ideal for uPVC windows.

Preparation
Make sure that all surfaces to be coated are dry and dust free. The application should always conform to the codes of practice described in BS 6150 and BS 5493.
- Loose and flaking materials should be removed.
- Clean with an industrial degreaser or methylated spirit to remove oils, grease, and other contamination.
- Areas of intact existing coatings should, ideally, be roughened by manual or mechanical sanding. Feather back exposed areas to a sound coating edge.
- Fill cracks and pits with a suitable filler before painting.
Application
Always perform a test patch on the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results
- Ensure to stir the paint thoroughly, do not apply in temperatures below 7ºC
- Application can be done using a brush, roller or sprayer
- The paint is supplied ready to use but can be thinned with up to 5% water if required
- Leave 1 hour between coats and ensure to apply a minimum of 2 coats
- Conventional Air Spraying: Thin with 5-15% water if required. Tip size - 2.0mm. Tip pressure - 60psi (0.4MPa) approx.
- Airless Spraying - Thin with 0-10% water as required. Tip size - 19 thou (0.48mm) approx. Tip pressure - 2100 psi (15MPa) approx.
